GRASSROOTS CENTRAL MASS provides opportunities for folks to get involved in activism with their like-minded neighbors. By joining forces, we can help move our communities forward on issues that impact us all, whether it be climate change, providing a fair and safe transition from immigrant to citizen, common sense gun control, or helping grow our regional economy. Climate Emergency

350 Central Mass (local chapter of 350.org)

Central MA Citizens’ Climate Lobby
We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization. Our chapter is one of hundreds creating the political will for a livable world. We are working for the passage of the Carbon Fee and Dividend Act, the solution economists and climate scientists say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.

Sierra Club
We are volunteer-driven and one of our current activities is to promote the Green New Deal. Our mission: To explore, enjoy, and protect the planet; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out those objectives.

Postcards to Voters 
Postcards to Voters are friendly, handwritten reminders from volunteers to targeted voters giving Democrats a winning edge in close, key races coast to coast. It can be done individually by signing up on the website, or in groups. Our group currently meets every Monday 4-7. Everyone is welcome!

Massachusetts Safe Communities Act
